BREAKING: Trump’s State Fair features a “mooving” tribute to Melania – a cow named after the First Lady!
Ah, youth. A blissful time when you may not realize that naming a cow after a vain woman might not be perceived as much of a compliment. And if we’re guessing right, perhaps quite the opposite.
But that’s just what happened at Trump’s “Great American State Fair” yesterday.
A bunch of kids paraded a cow named “Melania” around the near-empty grounds of the White House-backed spectacle staged on the National Mall to mark the country’s 250th anniversary.
“We thought Melania would be a good idea because it’s the first lady’s name, and the hair colors kind of match,” young Piper Stolipher told press assembled around the beauteous bovine.
Stolipher is a member of Future Farmers of America, an organization of kids enrolled in agriculture education.
She elaborated that she and her fellow students were brainstorming patriotic names tied to the nation’s semiquincentennial, and “Melania” seemed to “just kind of fit.”
Contacted by Occupy Democrats (j/k), Melania commented “Vot ze hell?” and slammed down the phone.
It’s too bad the fair is a flop. The lawn is so empty the grass shines as green as the reflecting pool, and the seats for the crappy musical acts are almost literally empty.
But when you’ve got a cow named Melania, what else more do you really need?
