BREAKING: New reporting shows a top company that worked for Obama’s White House REFUSED Trump’s Reflecting Pool project because they KNEW it would be a disaster!
This is what happens when you don’t listen to the experts…
Everybody warned Trump that painting the bottom of the Reflecting Pool blue would be a lightning rod for algae, including New Jersey-based Sika USA, who turned down the project because they knew that doing it by July 4th wasn’t feasible and that painting the pool’s bottom blue would create additional problems.
Sika provided concrete construction and sealing products for the 2012 renovations commissioned by the Obama administration.
Instead, Trump went with Rhino Linings, a company that specializes not in pools but in truck bed linings. Rhino Linings likely knew how this would go – but decided $14 million in public money was more important than actually doing a good job.
Now Trump and his administration are desperately trying to push this absolutely pathetic and stupid conspiracy that antifa vandals are somehow cutting 350-foot gashes in the pool with box cutters and pouring algae into the pool.
They refused to listen to the experts, and now they’re paying the price – the same way they ignored the experts for EVERY SINGLE THING IN AMERICA…except we have to pay the price for that.
